<p>An ink pad is particularly designed for use in toy printing stamps and remains in a usable condition even after long periods of storage. In order to achieve this the pad (21, 23) contains or carries a supply of powdered, soluble ink in the form of a thin layer extending over the complete top side of the pad. A grid (25) is positioned between the top of the pad and an absorbent cover material (27) which is attached along its circumference by means of water-resistant adhesive to the walls of the container (5) and to the intermediary walls. More specifically the pad contains a softener and comprises two layers (21, 23) arranged one on top of the other.</p> |
