Venetian blind slat retention - with flap connecting pieces fixed to slats and to parallel vertical strips

The slat-retaining system on a venetian blind has the slats held by connecting pieces on vertical strips. Each of these connecting pieces (2) is in the shape of a flap, firmly joined to the slat (3). The pieces can consist of the ends of strip sections (4) arranged vertically one after the ohter, the sections being offset sideways. Gluing, welding or stapling can be used for the connection.
