<p>The extending trailer has the end sections pivoted about bottom transverse axes to swing out through 90 deg. to extend the length. The hinges of the extensions are provided with flanges which are gripped by hydraulic servo arms so that the vehicle can be extended without any manual effort. The heavy end sections are easily operated by the differential pistons, with the pivoting action under full control at all times. Large and heavy vehicles can thus be used.</p> |
