The oscillator has its operational energy supplied through a transfer diode. It uses rectified line transformer voltage. A start assisting capacitor (C1) is connected in series with a charge and/or filter capacitor (K) in a rectifier for the T.V. receiver energy supply. It is connected to the oscillator (O) through a transfer diode (D1) so that when the receiver is switched on, capacitor (C1) charge voltage (U1) is higher than the minimum operating voltage for the oscillator.
