<p>An artificial fishing lure having an elongated, narrow lower body base (10) attached to a fishing line (3) and fish hooks (4), and a clear pivoting member (15) is attached to the base (10). The pivoting member (15) defines within itself a cavity (20). When the pivoting member (15) is swung upward, a removable insert (21) of varying colors, appearances, and of corresponding shape is placed within the cavity (20), and the pivoting member (15) is then snap-fit to the lower body base (10). The pivoting member (15) can be made in various different sizes and shapes and is itself interchangeable on the base (10). The base (10) possesses a channel formed in the upper surface (11) and extending from the forward end (13), under the insert (21), and to the rear end (14) for placement of fish scent so that when water flows through the channel, fish scent is trailed behind the lure.</p> |
