The control is used for two piezoelectric actuators (P1,P2), for reducing the power losses and allowing a variable actuator frequency. Each actuator is combined with a respective inductance (SP1,SP2) to form an oscillator circuit, both the inductances coupled together and to a third inductance (SP3). A synchronisation device (SYN) is coupled to the first 2 inductances on the input side, for synchronised operation of the actuators, the third inductance controlled by a DC signal with an amplitude which determines the actuator frequency.
