<p>Plastic bag esp. for transporting fruit and other food products is simple to manufacture and provides ventilation holes for the contents. The bag is formed from plastic film of uniform thickness and has over its side surfaces round holes (4), e.g. circular or oval, which have rounded-off edges so that the strength of the complete bag is not impaired. A strip (6) on the bag's sides is kept free of holes to enable any desired advertising or other printed information to be displayed. The main opening to the bag has the plastic film folded inwards to create a strengthened region in which hand holes (7) are formed.</p> |
