PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphase multiple chopper controller with a bridge configuration which can facilitate generation of a large amount of power and size reduction of a controller and conduct high speed response control. SOLUTION: Chopper circuits CH1P-CH4P for power running consisting of a high speed switching element, and chopper circuits CH1N-CH4P for regeneration are bridge-connected respectively. The armature A of a motor is connected to respective bridge points through smoothing reactors L1-L4. By shifting the phases of respective chopper circuits of bridge configuration from each other for chopping-control, the pulsating flow of output current and the pulsating flow of input current decrease. |
