PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly carry out power-off speed change by certainly and rapidly judging the speed change following the power-off of an engine. SOLUTION: In the case of judging whether a step 37 shall be practiced through power-off speed change caused by lowering the output of an engine, or a step 44 shall be practiced through power-on speed change except the above speed change, when throttle opening lowering rateΔTVO is judged to be above set valueΔTVO set at a step 36, or when elapsing time (t) after speed change command is judged to be the positive and negative reversing time (tr) of engine output torque at a step 42, or when the throttle opening TVO is judged to lower to the positive and negative reversing throttle opening TVOE of engine output torque at a step 43, the engine is regarded to be in the course of the power-off speed change, and controlled so as to keep an inertia phase and the positive and negative of output torque after speed change. |
