SOLUTION: This luminair is provided with a long size lamp 1 arranged on an upper part than a desk surface 3a to irradiate the desk surface 3a, and a lamp body part 2 fitted to a desk 3 and also retaining the lamp 1. At this time, the lamp 1 is a straight tube fluorescent lamp having a given length capable of ensuring necessary brightness on a nearly whole surface of the desk surface 3a, and also is arranged so that the center of the lamp 1 can neary conformed with the center in the width direction of the desk surface 3a. |
