PURPOSE:To improve the operation speed by allowing a stationary radio station to control the transmission of a radio wave to a portable radio telephone set in its own service area according to the result of measuring the electric field strength of the radio wave from the portable telephone set. CONSTITUTION:In the case of setting a radio line, the position is registered by a portable telephone set PTEL to check a stationary radio station FRS able to make service and informing the resulting to the station FRS. When a call comes, the station FRS sends a notice signal. The telephone set PTEL sends a position registration command. The station FRS measures the electric field strength of a position registration request signal and when it is judged that the telephone set PTEL does not exists its own service available area, no radio wave is sent but the station keeps standby state. Moreover, when the station FRS judges that the telephone set PTEL exists is own service area, the station sends a required radio wave for a prescribed time. Then the transmission is continued or stopped depending on the occurrence state of the communication occurred in the time. |
