A shoulder ring (2) is welded onto the pipe (1) by means of annular weld seams (6, 7). A sealing surface (5) is formed on an annular portion (4) of the shoulder ring (2). Resting on the annular portion (4) there is provided a flange ring (8) which can be welded to the shoulder ring (2). The pipe flange can be fastened on the pipe end reliably and cost-effectively by means of an automatic welding machine without reducing the cross-section of the pipe (1). <IMAGE> |
