<p>Process for obtaining [2,1-d]-2-oxazolines of amino sugars from chitin or its derivatives such as for example α-D-gluco-furano [1,2-d]-2-oxazolines, characterized by the treatment of chitin or its derivatives with a dry hydrofluoric acid and a ketone at a mid-high temperature; the process consists in preparing furano-[2,1-d]-2-oxazolines with various substituents R1, R2, R3 and R4. Said products are a starting material for glycosilations, chain lengthening, isotopic marking and, generally, for the production of 2-amino-sugars (monosaccharides or oligosaccharides) derived selectively, for applications to biochemical investigation, such as muramic acid or neuraminic acid.</p> |
