<p>Benzoylpropionic acid ester derivatives of formula (I) wherein R is C1-C4 alkyl or benzyl, and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, which act as kynurenine-3-hydroxylase enzyme inhibitors and are useful in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. A process for preparing compounds of formula (I) and pharmaceutical compositions comprising them are also described.</p> |
