PURPOSE: To obtain simple clock synchronizing algorithm for synchronizing clocks in decentralized networks by using the fastest clock among the networks as a master. CONSTITUTION: At each node, the local time of the node is transmitted to other nodes in a network when reception time from a remote node is not larger than the local time of the node and synchronized with the reception time when the reception time is larger than the local time of the node. Namely, the fastest clock in the network is used as a master clock to synchronize all other clocks in the network with the master clock. Consequently, the clocks can be synchronized in an address-independent network.
