<p>Disposable all-in-one nappy, draw-sheet, etc. comprises a supporting sheet of synthetic material to which is adhered a narrower band of water-absorbent material e.g. shredded cellulose, cotton or cellulose sheeting, and a sheet of non-woven textured cellulose adhered by its edges to the supporting sheet. The longitudinal edges of the supporting sheet are turned in and adhered to the non-woven sheet, then the prod. is cut to the desired length, and finally the transverse edges of the supporting sheet are also turned in the adhered to the non-woven sheet. The article provides perfect sealing, and prevents moisture from being transferred to the garments or from spreading. It may be used for other purposes, partic. litter for animals.</p> |
