<p>PURPOSE: To easily scan a bar code by grasping the handle part of a head to operate a trigger toward the bar code with the front end of the body part off the bar code. CONSTITUTION: A user grasps a handle part 12 of the scanning head in his hand and directs the front end of a body part 14 toward the bar code and operates a trigger 60 with the hand grasping the handle part 12. Consequently, laser light is emitted toward the bar code to scan the bar code. Since the scanning head is formed like a pistol, the emitting direction of laser light is easily directed to the bar code. Thus, laser light is surely exposed to the bar code.</p> |
