PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable mobile communication terminal Which performs access to a plurality of wide-area networks to select an economical optimum access point and to be automatically connected to the access point. SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal is provided with an access device which acquires position registering information from a base station 20, retrieves an access point by using the position registering information as a key, and instructs the access point to communication equipment and selects an access point which is used for its own position registered area. In addition, the terminal also has tables 211-213 on which a plurality of access points are arranged correspondingly to the toll number group of each position registered area at every network.
