<p>The place location display console (11) is designed to be used at airports, railway stations, tourist offices, banks, and large stores. It contains information about a given geographic region and incorporates a slide projector and a selection of slides. It has a slide selection system and a slide projection control system. The slides contain views of shops, restaurants, hotels or other establishments in the region. The selection mechanism is associated with a slide catalogue which is referenced to the selection system. The console has a card distribution system. The cards containing information about the subject displayed on the slide. The distribution system is under the control of the selection and control systems. The console includes luminous indicators showing chosen places. Illumination of the chosen place being actuated by the selection and control systems.</p> |
