The connector has a woodscrew (32) held in a base (20). A screw head supports a bracket (26) with a central tapped hole (30) which receives the end (34) of the woodscrew. The bracket has two perpendicular grooves (36) to take a cable (16). Corner supports hold a second bracket (22). A central screw (24) wedges the top bracket (22) onto the supports and also holds the cable (16). A second cable (14) perpendicular to the first is pressed into contact with the first. The extension of the top screw is an earthing or connecting point.
