<p>The nozzle is fitted to a paint spray gun and has an inner jet body (2) screwed into the gun outlet (1). A hole (3) is provided through both, the paint being controlled by a needle valve (4). The jet body has a coned outer surface (10) having four axial slots (16) spaced around its circumference. The compressed air cap (11) has a central orifice (5) and a matching coned surface (12), and its outer face has side air jets (18). The cap can be positioned over the inner body to selectively open or close these side air jets, the open position corresponding to the air passages being over the slots.</p> |
