The connector is for two coaxial components which are exposed, in rerlation to each other to a tractive force and is uncoupled when a certain critical level of the force is reched and can then be used again. The device comprises a head fitted to the end of one of the components, the head having a thickened part whilst at the other end of the second component there is a bush. This bush has a recess with walls made of a flexible material which fit around the thickened part of the other component's head inserted in them. The thickened part of the first composed of a ball link, whilst the other component bush is made of two halves connected in their central area by screws.
