The continuous flow heater consists of a twin tube (3) with an inside, tubular space (2) contg. a tubular heating element (6) has powdered insulating material and terminal ends (5). The insulating material is prevented from falling out of the ends (10, 11) of the twin tube (3) by a seal. A water-conducting duct (1) on the outside has ends covered with a tube connection (7) at the ends (10, 11) of the twin tube (3) by dividing off an appropriate length of tubular compartment (2). The tubular compartment (2) and the water-conducting duct (1) are made of one piece of extruded twin-tube (3) which has a flat surface. The twin-tube (3) can be a single or double U shape.
