Factories remove dust from contaminated air by filtration before the air can be released into the environment. The dust cannot be deposited in the open air because winds would blow it into the environment. The dust is therefore pelletised, and the pellets employed as large-grained gravel in concrete. The use of the pellets recudes the consumption of conventional materials in concrete mfr.
