Compact flow restrictor for brake pipes - has outlet closing piston and by=pass with flow and pressure reducers

The restrictor has blocking piston (12) for separating an outlet chamber (10) and a pressurised chamber (14). The piston rod (15) projects in the direction of the pressure chamber. The piston (12) covers in its end position in the outlet chamber an outlet (4) by its end face so that the outlet is sealed. The outlet chamber is connected with the inlet (2) by a pressure reduced valve (6) and by a connection (8) with flow resistances. The pressure chamber (14) is connected by a throttle valve (22) with the inlet (2). This restrictor has compact design and it is readily installed and it is reliable in operation.
