<p>The cover for a solar energy collector is made in one piece with the frame, which determines the distance between the cover and the base plate, and with the flange by which it is attached to the base plate. The collector is of the type in which a heat transfer medium, esp. water, flows between two plates, and the cover is provided to prevent reradiation of the collected energy. The collector is simple to mfr. It is light in weight and therefore easy to assemble, transport, and install. No special support structure is required.</p> |
