The rotor driven aircraft has at least one pair of counter-rotating lifting rotors, and at least one separate propulsion rotor. All rotors and their air supply ducts are held in a common housing in the roof of a cabin. All the rotors are driven by a common drive unit. The lifting and propulsion rotors have separate air supply ducts. The first group of air supply ducts (11, 12) for the lifting rotors (9, 10) pass through the housing (2) vertically. The second air supply ducts (17, 18, 19, 20) for the propulsion rotors (14, 16) pass the housing in longitudinal direction. These ducts are formed as hollow aerofoil profiles with vertical profiles chord. The outlets of the first air supply ducts are arranged on the underside of the roof projecting beyond the cabin(1).
|
