Appts. for transmitting endoscopic pictures for secondary viewing and television comprises articulately connected beam guides (10, 11) with joints (1-3) in which are mounted mirrors or prisms for deflection. The guides contain lenses for picture inversion. In at least one joint, markings (4-7) are disposed on the moving and stationary parts to indicate the position of the picture. On the markings are pref. mounted electrical contacts with a current supply wire (13), and an in candescent bulb (5, 6) so that the latter lights up in certain positions of the joint. The appts. thus always adjusts the picture to the perfectly correct position.
