<p>The programme control for a slotting press of electric machine laminations in the shape of circular segments moves the setting-up table after each slotting tool stroke and superimposes to this motion a step-by-step swivelling movement around a vertical axis, to suit the inputs to a computer for hte parameters of standardized laminations. Additional inputs are provided for overlaps of the segments from layer to layer, for the number of layers for each stack, for the stack height, for the selection of a certain lamination, for a skew slot arrangement and/or for the outside contour of the segments. Two servomotors moves the clamping table of the press in the direction of X- and Y- coordinates, and a third servomotor turns the slotting tools. Each control circuit is coupled to a position pulse generator and to measuring circuits. The standard inputs govern the type of lamination rotor or stator, the slot radii the slot pitch, the number of slots per segment and the number of slots per layer. One input provides check readings which can be displayed or printed.</p> |
