PURPOSE:To automatically and precisely accomplish focusing after initially moving an optical device by performing fuzzy inference by means of focusing degree data from a data outputting means and initial motion speed data from a motion control device. CONSTITUTION:Paper to be projected is placed on a projecting plate TD and its image is projected on a screen SC through the optical device KS which is moved and controlled in a focusing direction by the motion control device FC. At this time, data on the speed of the change of the color density and the size of a projected image which is projected on the screen SC and responds to focusing degree is given to a fuzzy processing means FSM from the data outputting means DD and data on the initial motion speed of the optical device KS from the motion control device FC, respectively. Making use of each data the fuzzy processing means FSM follows a fuzzy rule, performs the fuzzy inference with respect to be motion speed of the optical device and performs focusing in response to the result of the fuzzy reasoning. |
