The housing (1) of the heat exchanger is penetrated by a multiplicity of parallel finned tubes (2). The finned tubes (2) have a helical, rolled-on fin (3) with parallel fin edges, the double radius of the core filleting (4) corresponding to the distance between neighbouring fin edges. These finned tubes (2) are screwed through a deflecting wall (6) which has a threaded bore (5). In this case, the threads of the threaded bores reach as far as the core of the finned tubes (2). The deflecting wall (6) is formed from a sheet metal plate whose thickness is smaller than the width of the gap between neighbouring finned turns. The threads of the threaded bores (5) are formed by rim parts (7) of the holes in the deflection wall (6), for which purpose these parts have a radially extending slot as thread start and are helically interconnected. In this tube bushing, the leakage losses are largely to be excluded and, again, fixing the deflecting and supporting walls is simplified. <IMAGE>
