<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method in a garbage treating tank by which even if ambient conditions change, the concentration of dissolved oxygen in an aeration tank is adjusted within a certain fixed range to keep the inside of the aeration tank in an aerobic state and also hindrance such as bulking to sludge due to an excess of air is prevented to stabilize the quality of treated water. SOLUTION: In an aeration tank 1 containing sewage 'a', a dissolved oxygen concentration sensor 2, an oxidation-reduction potential sensor 3, and a diffusing pipe 4 for supplying air 'c' are installed. A control method of the supplied quantity of air in a garbage treating tank in which by a control circuit 6, the supplied quantity of air is controlled to adjust dissolved oxygen concentration and oxidation-reduction potential to 3-7 ppm and >=0 mV respectively is provided to make aerobic microorganisms effectively function and also to stabilize sludge sedimentation property, thereby obtaining stabilized quality of treated water.</p> |
