PURPOSE:To produce a highly activated exhaust gas purification catalyst maintaining the performance over a logn time by generating glow discharge under reduced press. using a metal (oxide) for a catalyst body as an electrode; placing a carrier in an electric field where high potential gradient of the discharge acts; and plasma plating the above metal (oxide) on the surface of the carrier. |
