PHF 77-503 A display element constituted by an electroluminescent diode and a light reflector having an oblong shape on the bottom of which the electroluminescent diode is disposed. The display element is characterized in that the reflector comprises two associated halfshells in a disposition producing a cavity on the bottom of which the said diode is fixed. Application is to linear rectilinear or curvilinear display devices.
