Enlargement of sharp corner profiles on thermo-formed dishes - to avoid excessive local drawdown and weakness

In the thermoforming of dishes having sharp corners at least part of the corner profile is modified to the form of a bulbous boss rib. The extra material and the shape of the extra boss or rib prevents excessive material draw-down and weakening at the corners of the mould, and facilitates ejection.
