摘要 <p>Toner powder contains a binder, with a conductivity of max. 10-12 mho/cm2, consisting of (i) 74-98 vol. pts. thermoplastic component (I), with a softening point of >=60 (pref. >100) degrees C, a 10 sec. shearing creep compliance (SCC) of 10-9 to 10-13 (pref. 10-10 to 10-12) cm2/dyn and a heat deflection temp. below 300 degrees C, and (ii) 2-26 vol. pts. non-volatile component (II) with a principal glass transition temp. (Tg) below 0 degree C and a 10 sec. SCC of 50 to 8 x 10-8 cm2/dyn. The toner powder has a transfer density of max. 0.15 and a paper abrasion density of max. 0.15. Pref. (I) is a polystyrene, coumarone-indene resin or polyterpene and (II) is an elastomer, pref. used in conjunction with a tackifier. Specifically, the binder contains electrically conductive (C) particles and opt. magnetisable particles. The toner is free-running and is more convenient and economical in use, since it needs less energy than a fusible toner powder.</p>
