<p>The system forms perfectly contrasted fringes with a high illumination level. It is essentially designed for use in the infra red range. Use is made of an achromatic divider (D) which enables the system to produce from a wide source (5) a pair of separated images (S1, S2). The system has a concave spherical mirror (M) which reflects the rays from the two images to produce interference fringes. These fringes are produced for selective modulation interference spectrophotometry on a grill (G). The grill (G) being arranged between the spherical mirror (M) and the image pair (S1, S2). The grill (G) and the spherical mirror (M) are placed on the axis of optical system. The optical system axis consisting of the achromatic divider (D), the source (S). The centre of curvature (C) of the concave spherical mirror (M) is also situated on the systems optical axis and in the plane defined by the pair of separated images (S1S2).</p> |
