Aniair conditioning system still have valves supported in slots (2) formed by folind spring steel strips (1). The strips (1) are folded to form series of U- shapes joined by slots which are initially narrower than the thickness of the vanes (4) so that the outer edges of the slots (2) partially penetrate the holes. The ends of the strip (1) are fitted into channels (3) forming part of a building. Spring wire may be used instead of the strip (1).
