<p>The sliding stop valve has a housing with a first pair of openings opposite each other and running in a first direction, and a second such pair at right angles to the first. Those in the first pair are connected by a first passage which can be shut off by a slide. The openings of the first pair are each connected with one in the second pair via second and third passages, and the slide travels across the three passages. The slid can have a passage between two sealing portions. The housing can be in two halves, preferably identical, the slide working between the halves, and coinciding with the diagonal of a rectangle circumscribed by the joint faces of the openings.</p> |
