<p>The grinding mill for handling colour pigments, pharmaceutical materials, etc. has an improved arrangement for improving heat generated during grinding process. The grinder has a pan (16) fitted with an external cooling jacket supplied with cooling water. The combined jacket consists of a shell (66) fitted on the external surface of the pan (16) creating annular cavity (64). Concentrically to shell (62) a second shell (66) creates another annular cavity (68). The two cavities are connected at the bottom. The top of cavity (64) is open and the top of cavity (68) is arranged in such a way that cooling water introduced at the top of cavity (64) flows downwards, enters into cavity (68) at the bottom and finally overflows on the open rim of shell (66).</p> |
