The terminal block is for joining two electrical cables. It is possible to deflect the joint both horizontally and vertically without weakening the joint and used for joining electrical cables in conducting tubes on conveying trays in the mining industry. It consists of an elongated connector which is used to support the electric cable. The elongated connector (2) is made with an open elongated slit bounded by two jaws (7) and used to support the two cable ends (4). There are several flexible electrically conducting pressure sections (5) between facing surfaces (18) of the connecting piece. Any shift between the cable ends and the connected piece can be compensated without any play or interruption of the current pass.
