The toothbrush has a hose attached for connecting it to a water supply, which passes through the hollow handle (1). Inside the handle (1) is a valve (7) which produces vibrations. One or more longitudinal apertures (8) conveys the rhythmic water jet into one or more outlet nozzles or transverse holes (10) positioned in the spaces between the bristles (9). The handle (1) incorporates a container (3) for toothpaste or water which passes through the pipe (4) via an intermediate piece (5).
