<p>The robot handles at least one workpiece and includes two arms positioned in line and carried by a column pivoting at least 180 deg. about an axis positioned vertically to a base plate. The arms are fitted at their free end with a grab and are provided with means for moving the grabs in linear direction. Both arms are formed by lightweight beam (7) which is mechanically displaceable in direction of its axis from the column (3). The beam (7) is slidingly mounted in a housing (9) which is pivoting on the column (3) about an axis positioned across the beam (7), which is fitted with plastic cheecks (13, 14) which are running between rollers (10). Attached to the cheecks are the ends of a pretensioned toothed belt (22) meshing with a gear (19) driven by a motor (17). The toothed belt (22) when driven by the gear (19) is displacing the beam in linear direction.</p> |
