The suppressor has at least one gate in the high frequency signal path, toe which a blocking pulse is applied when an interference voltage detector recognises an interference pulse. A first gate (5) is followed by an intermediate frequency selection circuit (12) whose output is connected through an amplifier (16) and a second gate (7), switching inversely to the first one (5), to the intermediate frequency selection circuit (12). A gap produced by a blocking pulse behind the first gate (5) is filled by pure intermediate frequency signal from the output of the intermediate frequency selection circuit (12) and applied to its input through the amplifier (16) and the second gate (7).
