The passenger traffic suspension track is provided with parallel rails (2) to guide retractable flange wheels fitted to the vehicles for starting and stopping purposes. The track is equipped with two parallel rail like conductor plates (4) a support system and a balance flow winding (5) arranged in the centre in the centre of the track below armature loops (6) fed by alternating current for forwards propulsion. Goods are transported by trucks with flanges wheels and drawn by a locomotive at speeds below 250 kilometers per hour. The locomotives have primary armature loops fitted underneath and fed by direct current. The primary loops form a linear motor with the track loops (6). The flanged wheels are fitted to rigid axles carried on trucks and locomotive.
