Contoured pretzel making machine - includes multi-part conveyor filling V-shaped space

Pretzel mfg. machine which produces a round bar which tapers towards both ends has two lower spaced support boards diverging away in the direction of movement of the bar being processed. Spaced above these boards are two endless moving belts and in the V-shaped space between these belts is an assembly of further endless belts at the same height as the support boards these further endless belts are close together and fill the V-shaped gap. The upper runs of the centre portion of the V-space endless belts supports the centre portion of the bar being formed and moves in an opposite direction to the bar. The upper runs increase in speed from the entry to the exit ends in a proportion so that in the middle the advance of the centre region of the bar corresponds to that of the ends.
