The appts. converts pressure to frequency and uses elements for excitation of oscillations of cord with pressure applied. A flexible measuring element (11) transmits the pressure vertically to the cord (17) The flexible measuring element (11) consist of bellows or a membrane. The bellows (11) is accommodated in a housing (10) and sealed to the surface of the housing (10) which points upwards. The lower end of the bellows (11) is sealed off by means of a plate (12). A crossed spring parallel guide (13) is fixed to the wall of the housing (10). It stabilizes and guides the bellows (11). A knife edge (15) is fixed to the sealing plate (12).
