<p>The fuel tank filler neck consists of two telescopic members (3, 4). The upper member (3) is joined to the body-work and closed by a filler cap. The lower member (4) is joined to the tank stub (7) by a flexible sleeve (6). The telescopic members (3, 4) are provided with an '0' sealing ring (9). The telescopic member (4) joined to the tank has a corrugated deformable section (10) alloowing the neck to bend as in lateral angular or axial crash stress without causing fuel spillage.</p> |
