The exclusive-OR circuit consists of NAND-gates controlling an output transistor (10) that conducts when two H signals are applied to the NAND inputs (A-C). Each NAND gate consists of two input diodes (7-9 and 11-13), two pairs of series transistors (1, 2/3, 4/5, 6) and appropriate resistors. With no H signal at any input, no H signal appears at the output. With an H signal at A, an H signal appears at the output. With an H signal at A and B, the transistor (10) conducts.
