<p>1497728 Mounting and projection apparatus for aperture cards HOECHST AG 18 March 1975 [20 March 1974] 11203/75 Headings G2J and G2X Film 11 and an aperture card 14 are fed to a position between a plunger 8 and a window 5 having a counter-pressure frame 6 and the plunger 8 is moved towards the window to cut off a frame from the film 11 by means of knives 7,7' and to press the severed frame against adhesive 16 on the card 14; the plunger 8 containing a condenser 12 which directs light from a source 18 through the frame for projection on to a screen 1 so that, for instance, the operator can compare numbers on the frames with numbers on the cards to make sure they are correctly paired. Preferably a transparent strip of film 13 presses the severed frame against the plunger 8 to keep it flat for projection. The projection system shown in Fig. 2 comprises light source 18 having a reflector 22, a condenser 19, mirror 20, the condenser 12, mirror 23, projection lens 24, inverting prism 25 and mirrors 26, 27.</p> |
